INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons avocado oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon dried coriander seeds, crushed
1 tablespoon dried cumin seeds, crushed3 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon tomato paste
1 pound grass fed lean ground beef
2 tablespoons coconut aminos
1 egg, beaten
½ cup gluten free breadcrumbs
¼ cup chopped parsley
INSTRUCTIONS
Sauté the onion in the avocado oil until translucent. Add the spices and cook for another 3 minutes. Transfer to a bowl, together with the tomato paste, ground beef, coconut aminos, egg, breadcrumbs, and parsley. Mix well.
Make walnut-sized balls out of the mixture and then fry the balls in a little avocado oil in the pan you used for the onion. Drain on kitchen towel. These can also be sprayed lightly with avocado oil and broiled until ready.
